Fall, although it is the end of the summer, it still makes me think about beginning. It makes me think about a new school year. New opportunities, new friends, new things to learn. As an adult who just recently finally completed my college degree, for now, it is a great feeling in this ‘new season’ to not have to be in the books this time!
But really, as I am launching out on this new pathway, entering a business that is all about learning, how can I not feel the pressure, to be always adding to my skills and knowledge? From learning how to register a business name, to talking about color pallets that are necessary to create professional marketing materials to picking out the best type of paper for a company newsletter, to creating the first blog for our website, there is so much I did not know. What’s missing is the question that often is in the back of our minds while in school, “when will I use this information?” The answer is now! It’s about life, making changes, adding to my own knowledge, skills and abilities, as I seek to develop and provide the resources that will do the same for many others. Let’s just keep learning!
